New manager coaching builds the habits and confidence that carry a career. Every Edstellar first-time manager coaching program is designed around six benefits.
Each manager's objective is linked to the transition they are making, from earning authority to managing former peers.
Meridian brings the program into one place for the new manager, the coach and your CHRO. AI handles the preparation and paperwork, so every hour of new manager coaching is spent on the conversation that matters.

Six steps take each new manager from nomination to a final summary they control, over six to eight months. Your CHRO sees progress at every step; the coaching itself stays between manager and coach.
Your CHRO or program admin adds each manager on Meridian with their role, the transition they are making and their focus areas. The manager agrees to take part.
CHRO and managerIn a 30-minute video session, the manager reviews the certified coaches Meridian recommends and chooses one. The CHRO can join this session if the manager wants them there.

First-time manager coaching is one-on-one professional coaching for people making their first move into managing others, focused on the identity shift, practical skills and confidence the transition demands. Edstellar's program pairs each new manager with a certified coach for ten to twelve hours over six to eight months, run on Meridian.
First-time manager coaching is for newly promoted managers, managers leading former peers, new managers hired from outside the organization and any manager in their first 90 days in a people management role.
Ten to twelve hours of one-on-one coaching over six to eight months. The session length and schedule are agreed in the free chemistry session.
Every Edstellar coach is certified by the International Coaching Federation (ICF) at PCC or MCC level, the International Coaching Community (ICC) or the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC). Coaches are also vetted by Edstellar before Meridian can recommend them.
Meridian recommends certified coaches based on the manager's track, objective, language and time zone. In a 30-minute video session the manager reviews the recommendations and chooses one, then meets the coach in a free chemistry session before anyone commits.
Your CHRO sees sessions held, hours used, progress against the agreed objective and the parts of the final summary the manager chooses to share. Session content, notes and assignments stay between manager and coach.
From Peer to Manager, Managing Former Colleagues, The First 90 Days, Feedback & Accountability, Delegation & Letting Go and Managing Upwards. The manager chooses one with the coach in the chemistry session.
Yes. Edstellar delivers first-time manager coaching virtually on Meridian, with every session on video and managers seeing times in their own time zone. Language and time zone are part of how coaches are matched.
