Program Overview: What is Enterprise Endpoint Security?

Enterprise Endpoint Security is a 24-hour program for security engineers, SOC analysts, and IT teams who defend the devices attackers target first. It covers the endpoint threat landscape, hardening and baselines, EDR deployment and policy design, detection and threat hunting, and containment and remediation. Participants defend realistic enterprise fleets in live exercises.

Training runs as a defense campaign across six modules with six practice sessions. Short briefings introduce each capability, then teams harden endpoints, deploy EDR, and hunt live threats in an instrumented lab environment. Instructors who have run enterprise endpoint programs review every configuration and triage decision. Coaching focuses on what separates noise from signal: tuning detections, prioritizing the endpoint that matters, and containing threats without taking the business offline.

Endpoint programs usually underdeliver: agents deployed but never tuned, alerts nobody triages, and baselines that drift within weeks. The program teaches teams to run endpoint security as an active defense: hardened builds, tuned detections, and hunt routines that catch what automation misses. Endpoints become the strongest layer, not the weakest link.

The capstone is a full enterprise endpoint defense exercise: teams harden a fleet, deploy EDR with tuned policies, then face a live adversary campaign across the environment, detecting, containing, and remediating every foothold. Instructors run the attack and grade detection speed, containment decisions, and eradication completeness. Teams finish with a hardened, hunted fleet and a defense playbook proven under fire.

Six modules and 24 hours: the endpoint threat landscape and architecture, endpoint hardening and baseline controls, EDR deployment and policy design, detection/triage/threat hunting, and incident containment and remediation. Every module pairs concepts with a guided lab, so each technique is practiced on realistic endpoints. It closes with a capstone enterprise endpoint defense exercise where your team defends a simulated fleet.

Key Skills and Outcomes Your Team Will Gain

Seven job-ready outcomes your team will demonstrate by the end of the program. Each competency is practiced in guided labs and reviewed in the capstone exercise.

  • Explain endpoint attack techniques

Describe how attackers compromise endpoints and move through fleets.

  • Harden endpoints to baselines

Apply configurations that shrink the endpoint attack surface.

  • Deploy and tune EDR

Roll out EDR agents and design detection policies with low noise.

  • Triage endpoint alerts

Investigate and prioritize endpoint alerts quickly and accurately.

  • Hunt threats across the fleet

Form hypotheses and search for hidden endpoint activity.

  • Contain endpoint incidents

Isolate compromised devices and stop threats from spreading.

  • Remediate and recover endpoints

Remove threats, restore devices, and validate recovery.
