Program Overview: What is Sustainable and Responsible Supply Chains (CSDDD)?
Sustainable & Responsible Supply Chains (CSDDD) is a 24-hour instructor-led program for compliance officers, procurement leaders, and sustainability teams preparing for the EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive. It covers CSDDD foundations, supply chain mapping and risk prioritization, and human rights and environmental due diligence. Participants also work through corrective action, supplier engagement, and decarbonization reporting.
The program runs as six sessions that combine CSDDD regulatory briefings with intensive working labs. Participants map realistic supply chains, prioritize risks, and design due-diligence procedures for human rights and environmental impacts, with an instructor testing the legal and practical robustness of each exercise. Corrective-action labs turn findings into supplier engagement plans with timelines. The final session is the capstone: each team builds a complete CSDDD compliance program and defends it against regulatory-style scrutiny.
The CSDDD makes supply chain due diligence a legal obligation with real liability, not a voluntary code of conduct. The program teaches teams to map their chains, prioritize risks credibly, run human rights and environmental due diligence, and engage suppliers on corrective action with evidence. They return compliance-ready: obligations understood, due diligence designed, evidence organized.
The capstone is a complete CSDDD compliance program: supply chain mapping and risk prioritization, human rights and environmental due-diligence procedures, corrective-action and supplier engagement plans, decarbonization and reporting components, and the evidence architecture to prove it all. Teams defend the program under regulatory-style questioning, which is the closest rehearsal to the scrutiny the directive itself will bring.
Training progresses from CSDDD foundations to applied compliance: chain mapping and risk registers, the six-step due-diligence cycle, corrective action and supplier engagement, decarbonization levers, and reporting alignment. Guided labs use realistic scenarios, and the capstone has teams design a complete CSDDD compliance program ready for board review.

Build Responsible Supply-Chain Programs With Traceable Risks and Supplier Actions
Edstellar develops sustainability due-diligence capability through multi-tier mapping, risk analysis, and supplier engagement. Participants examine human-rights and environmental cases, corrective actions, and climate-reporting links using sample evidence. A program review tests supported priorities, clear responsibilities, and practical mechanisms for documenting and following up on identified impacts.
- Step 01
Consult
We discuss supply-chain, legal, and ESG responsibilities to identify gaps in tier visibility, severity-based prioritization, due diligence, corrective action, and supplier engagement.
- Step 02
Plan
CSDDD foundations lead into mapping and risks, human-rights and environmental diligence, then corrective actions and climate engagement before an integrated program design.
- Step 03
Align
Responsible-supply-chain and due-diligence expertise supports sustainability, procurement, legal, and operational colleagues, connecting concepts with their distinct evidence, engagement, and oversight responsibilities.
- Step 04
Customize
A fictional enterprise and three-tier product chain provide realistic risk cases without exposing confidential supplier findings or allegations involving identifiable workers.
- Step 05
Execute
Participants map tiers, prioritize impacts, and draft supplier action and climate plans, receiving feedback on evidence, severity reasoning, engagement, and reporting consistency.
- Step 06
Evaluate
We assess the program for traceable risks, proportionate supplier actions, clear grievance and stakeholder arrangements, and an accountable approach to documenting progress and unresolved gaps.
