Program Overview: What is Code of Conduct and Workplace Ethics?
Code of Conduct & Workplace Ethics is an instructor-led program for leaders and managers who set the ethical tone of their organizations. Over 16 hours and six modules, participants cover the purpose and reach of a code of conduct, ethical decision frameworks for hard calls, case clinics on conflicts of interest, gifts, disclosures, speak-up culture, retaliation, and investigations, and tone from the top. The program ends with an ethics program rollout plan as the capstone.
Learning runs on case clinics: realistic dilemmas drawn from actual workplace situations, debated in small groups and debriefed with the instructor. Leaders practice applying decision frameworks to conflicts of interest, gift scenarios, and disclosure calls, and rehearse how to receive a concern without retaliation. Speak-up culture is treated as a leadership skill with concrete behaviors, not a slogan. Every participant builds a 90-day rollout plan that turns integrity into a daily habit rather than a policy document.
Ethics programs fail in the gray areas, not the obvious ones: the gift that is almost fine, the conflict nobody declares, the concern nobody raises because the last reporter paid for it. Leaders without practiced judgment improvise under pressure, and the organization pays in investigations and trust. This program builds ethical muscle memory, so leaders recognize the hard call early and handle it well.
The capstone is an ethics program rollout plan: each leader maps their team's specific risk areas, designs speak-up channels and response routines, and commits to visible tone-from-the-top actions for 90 days, reviewed by the instructor. The plan is what separates this program from compliance theater. Participants return leading teams where people raise concerns early, and they know exactly how to respond when someone does.
Over six modules, leaders move from ethics foundations to a full capstone action lab. The program emphasizes practical decision tools, a speak-up culture that protects reporters, and a 90-day rollout plan so integrity becomes a daily leadership habit, not a policy document.

Translate Workplace Ethics Into Practiced Judgment and Clear Leadership Routines
Edstellar connects code-of-conduct responsibilities with the difficult decisions leaders face in daily work. Peer circles and case clinics examine conflicts, disclosures, and responses to speak-up concerns. Participants develop an ethics rollout plan, reviewed for practical communication, accountable leadership behavior, and a clear approach to handling ambiguity respectfully.
- Step 01
Consult
We explore code ownership and workplace gray areas to identify gaps in ethical reasoning, conflict disclosure, speak-up responses, and leadership example.
- Step 02
Plan
We establish code responsibilities before decision frameworks, conflict cases, and retaliation concerns, then develop ethics routines and the program rollout plan.
- Step 03
Align
We bring workplace ethics facilitation to leaders responsible for code rollout, organizing confidential peer clinics around disclosure decisions and speak-up responsibilities.
- Step 04
Customize
We tailor fictional vendor conflicts, gifts, and speak-up scenarios to familiar workplace pressures without identifying colleagues or assuming the truth of allegations.
- Step 05
Execute
Participants test ethical decisions, coach disclosure conversations, and respond to concerns, receiving feedback on reasoning, respectful handling, and appropriate escalation.
- Step 06
Evaluate
We assess the rollout plan for clear responsibilities, practical ethics moments, accessible discussion routes, and a coherent response to common workplace dilemmas.
