Program Overview: What is Leading Organizational Change?
Leading Organizational Change is an instructor-led program for leaders and managers who own organizational change, from restructures and system rollouts to strategy shifts. Your leaders build a clear change strategy, map and align stakeholders, communicate direction with conviction, handle resistance in tough conversations, and keep teams performing while the organization moves. Sixteen hours across six modules turn change leadership from improvisation into craft.
Training begins with change models and the leadership mindset, then moves into stakeholder mapping and coalition building using the cohort's real change initiatives. Instructors coach communicating the change story with live message drills, run resistance-handling role-plays with candid feedback, and work through embedding and sustaining momentum. Peer circles let leaders compare tactics on live changes. The program closes with a change action lab where each participant builds a complete change plan.
Change fails in the middle far more often than at the start: the vision is clear, the announcement lands, and then resistance, fatigue, and competing priorities erode it. Leaders announce instead of enroll, and momentum dies quietly. This program teaches the full arc, so change is carried through the middle and embedded at the end, not just launched.
The capstone is a full change plan each participant builds for an initiative they actually own. It includes the stakeholder map and coalition, the communication story with milestones, the resistance plays for the hard conversations, and the embedding moves that make the change stick. Built in the action lab, challenged by peers running their own changes, and refined with instructor coaching, the plan leaves the classroom as a live document, the leader's playbook for the change they return to on Monday.
Six modules and 16 hours: change models, stakeholder strategy, the change story, handling resistance, embedding change, and a capstone action lab. Every module pairs frameworks with case clinics and peer circles, coached live. Delivery is hybrid, scheduled around your calendar.

Build Organizational Change Plans Through Coalitions, Communication, and Reinforcement
Edstellar develops change leadership through a real initiative or representative case. Participants diagnose stalled progress, map stakeholders, and construct a change story before rehearsing resistance conversations. The final plan connects coalition building with reinforcement after launch, reviewed for stakeholder understanding, communication cadence, practical leadership actions, and mechanisms that support sustained adoption.
- Step 01
Consult
We explore current change initiatives, signs of stalled progress, and difficulties with stakeholder support or resistance to identify the cohort's change-leadership learning priorities.
- Step 02
Plan
We establish change models and leadership mindset before stakeholder coalitions, then connect change-story practice, resistance handling, and reinforcement in the complete action plan.
- Step 03
Align
We align organizational change facilitation with leaders, program teams, and functional managers, adapting case practice to their authority, initiative scope, and previous change experience.
- Step 04
Customize
We adapt stakeholder maps and resistance cases to familiar initiatives, giving participants concrete concerns and adoption barriers to address in their communication and reinforcement plans.
- Step 05
Execute
Participants pressure-test coalitions, deliver change stories, and rehearse tough conversations, receiving feedback on credibility, listening, stakeholder relevance, and how planned reinforcement supports new behaviors.
- Step 06
Evaluate
We assess the change plan for a clear case, realistic stakeholder strategy, coherent communication cadence, constructive resistance responses, and specific actions that sustain adoption after launch.
