Program Overview: What is Automotive Sales?
Automotive Sales is Edstellar's instructor-led sales program for dealership sales consultants, BDC teams, and sales managers who live on unit volume and gross. Participants master automotive buyer psychology, prospecting and lead management, and needs analysis with vehicle demos. The program covers negotiation, F&I, pipeline forecasting, and upsell.
Training is practice-driven from the first module. Participants run role-play cycles: prospecting calls, needs-analysis conversations, live vehicle demos, and negotiation with F&I objection handling, each round briefed, enacted, and debriefed. Instructors coach deal craft with direct feedback on every performance. The program closes with a dealership campaign the team plans and executes.
Showrooms lose deals the same way: weak follow-up, demos that list features instead of selling outcomes, and negotiations that give away gross. This program teaches deal discipline, relentless prospecting, demos tied to buyer needs, and negotiation that protects margin. Every skill is rehearsed in role plays, so it holds up on a busy Saturday.
The capstone is a live dealership campaign: the team designs the prospecting push, runs the demos, works the negotiations, and reports the pipeline like a sales meeting. Consultants return with a campaign they've actually run, and the follow-up habits that keep the pipeline full after the training high fades.
Six modules and 24 hours: buyer behavior, prospecting and CRM, demos, negotiation and F&I, pipeline and aftermarket, and a capstone deal campaign. Every module pairs concepts with a guided lab, so each technique is practiced. It closes with a capstone campaign the team plans, builds, and presents.

Develop Needs-Based Automotive Sales Skills Across the Dealership Journey
Our automotive sales training connects customer understanding with disciplined prospecting, vehicle demonstrations, and pipeline management. Participants work through sample buyer profiles, deal options, and forecasts before developing a dealership campaign. Practical reviews emphasize relevant recommendations, clear explanations, and accurate records rather than pressure tactics or promises of improved sales results.
- Step 01
Consult
We review your showroom roles, buyer segments, and sales-process challenges, identifying learning priorities in lead qualification, demonstrations, objections, deal explanations, and forecasting.
- Step 02
Plan
We start with buyer journeys and CRM organization, then practice prospecting, needs-based demonstrations, negotiation, and pipeline analysis before the full-cycle campaign presentation.
- Step 03
Align
We adapt exercises for new consultants and experienced sales managers, checking CRM familiarity and establishing a customer-focused approach to sample deal discussions.
- Step 04
Customize
We tailor buyer profiles, vehicle comparisons, and fictional deal options to relevant dealership contexts, making affordability questions and optional products clear within practice conversations.
- Step 05
Execute
Participants clean lead records, present a tailored demonstration, explain deal alternatives, and rebuild a forecast with feedback on relevance, transparency, and evidence.
- Step 06
Evaluate
We review the dealership campaign for coherent targeting, practical follow-up, needs-based vehicle presentation, clear deal communication, and a forecast supported by pipeline data.
