Program Overview: What is AWS Developer?
AWS Developer is Edstellar's instructor-led technical program for software developers building and shipping applications on AWS. Participants master compute and container workloads, storage and data access, and serverless event-driven applications. The program covers security, identity, and cost controls for production workloads.
Training is hands-on from the first module. Participants build in guided labs: deploying compute workloads, wiring storage and databases, then building serverless applications with events. Instructors coach AWS development patterns with direct feedback on every deployment. The program closes with a capstone: a production-style AWS deployment the team ships and documents.
AWS applications fail the same way: hardcoded credentials, architectures that ignore cost, and deployments nobody can reproduce. This program teaches cloud development discipline, identity-based access, cost-aware design, and infrastructure as code. Everything is practiced on realistic application scenarios, so the habits transfer to the next sprint.
The capstone ships a production-style AWS deployment: compute, storage, serverless components, and security controls wired together and deployed as code. Developers return with a deployment they built and can explain, the template for how their team should ship on AWS going forward.
Training runs in a hybrid format: live instructor sessions combined with supervised practice labs. Sessions adapt to each team's tools, cloud maturity, and the AWS services your workloads depend on. Each cohort practices on scenarios drawn from production builds, so skills transfer directly to the job.
By the end, teams ship AWS features with consistent architecture, tighter security, and visible cost control. Progress is tracked through lab assessments and a final capstone deployment.

Key Skills and Outcomes Your Team Will Gain
Your team leaves able to design, build, secure, and run AWS applications. These are the core competencies every participant practices in labs and the capstone build.
Design AWS architectures
Design resilient multi-tier architectures using the right compute, storage, and networking services.
Build serverless apps
Build event-driven applications with Lambda, API Gateway, and managed messaging, then wire them into automated workflows.
Secure workloads and data
Apply IAM, VPC isolation, encryption, and secrets management so every workload meets enterprise security standards.
Control cloud costs
Use tagging, budgets, and right-sizing to keep AWS spend visible and under control across development workloads.
Deploy and scale services
Deploy containerized and serverless services with autoscaling and load balancing that handle real traffic.
Troubleshoot AWS issues
Diagnose failures across logs, metrics, and traces, then fix misconfigurations in compute, data, and network layers.
Automate deployments
Package, test, and release application changes through repeatable deployment pipelines on AWS.
Teams that Benefit from this AWS Developer Group Training
Built for engineering teams that ship software on AWS. Developers, platform engineers, and DevOps practitioners get the group training they need, and content adapts to each role and experience level so every cohort practices the workflows it owns.

Bring your stack: labs are tailored to the AWS services your team runs.
Prerequisites: This program suits developers and engineers with basic software development experience. Familiarity with any cloud platform helps but is not required, and no prior AWS certification is needed. Sessions adapt to each cohort's tools, languages, and the AWS services they already run.
Developer to Cloud Developer
The program meets developers at their AWS baseline and moves each cohort from foundational concepts through guided practice to a production-style capstone, matching pace to role and experience.
A program that grows with AWS careers, from first deployments to confident production practice.
Mixed cohort, or several teams at once?
We can tailor the training to different teams, roles, and experience levels within the same program.
Certificate of Training Completion.
On successful completion, employees receive an Edstellar course completion certificate, recognizing their commitment to ongoing learning and professional development. It validates the skills they have built and motivates them to keep growing and contribute to organizational success.
Earned, not attended. Awarded on completion of all hands-on labs and the capstone project.

Training Delivery Modes: Virtual, Onsite and Hybrid
Choose the delivery mix that fits your teams. Every mode covers the same 25-hour curriculum, the same guided labs, and the same capstone build, led live by an AWS instructor.
Hybrid Training
Instructor-led sessions blend live teaching with supervised hands-on labs. Participants learn core AWS concepts from an expert, then build, deploy, and troubleshoot real workloads in the same session.
- Instructor-led teaching plus guided labs
- Real AWS builds in every session
- Tailored to your team's stack
- One program for office and remote learners
Onsite Training
An AWS instructor trains your team at your office, with guided labs run on your network and tooling. Content adapts to the services and workflows your developers use daily.
- Instructor at your office
- Labs on your network and tooling
- Content matched to your workflows
- Team builds together in one room
Live Virtual Training
Live virtual sessions bring the same training to distributed teams. Developers join guided labs remotely, with real-time help from the instructor throughout each session.
- Live online instructor-led sessions
- Remote guided labs with real-time help
- Same curriculum as onsite delivery
- Fits distributed team schedules

Where this Training Fits in Your Team's learning path.
Your developers build on AWS after they understand what the core services are and how AWS bills for them. This course is the step where they start writing applications against those services. From there, the path moves into serverless designs and then into automating how that code is built and deployed.
