Program Overview: What is Google Cloud Fundamentals - Core Infrastructure?
Google Cloud Fundamentals - Core Infrastructure is a 24-hour hands-on program for IT professionals, developers, and architects starting their Google Cloud journey. It covers cloud concepts and GCP setup, IAM and resource hierarchy, compute and networking basics, storage and database options, and monitoring with cost control. Learners build real infrastructure in GCP from the first lab, not from slides.
The program is lab-driven across six modules: participants set up GCP projects, configure IAM and resource hierarchies, and deploy compute and networking the way production environments require. Storage and database labs compare options hands-on, and monitoring exercises teach cost control before bills surprise anyone. Instructors review every configuration, correcting the foundational mistakes that haunt teams later. It closes with a capstone where each team completes a resilient app deploy on GCP.
Cloud beginners who learn from documentation alone build fragile foundations: flat IAM structures, unmonitored resources, and architectures nobody can explain or afford. These early mistakes compound into security incidents and runaway costs. This program builds GCP fundamentals correctly from the start, so every later specialization rests on solid ground.
The capstone is a resilient app deploy: each team provisions a complete GCP environment with proper IAM hierarchy, networked compute, managed storage, monitoring, and cost controls, then deploys an application that survives simulated failures. Instructors grade each deployment on resilience and hygiene: would this pass a security review, could a new hire understand it. Participants return with a working GCP foundation and the habits to build everything that follows correctly.
Your teams work through six modules across 24 hours: cloud setup, IAM and hierarchy, compute and networking, storage and databases, monitoring and cost control, and a capstone deploying a resilient multi-tier app. Guided practice in every module means upskilling and reskilling happen in live cloud environments.
Edstellar pairs your cohorts with practitioners who run Google Cloud in production. Sessions build cross-functional collaboration and lasting capability, and leave teams with templates, runbooks, and playbooks they own.

Build Google Cloud Foundations Through a Reviewed Multi-Tier Application Deployment
Edstellar connects core Google Cloud concepts through a practical infrastructure build. Participants establish project and access structures, configure compute and networking, and compare storage and database choices before adding monitoring and cost controls. The final application deployment is reviewed for coherent architecture, verified access, operational visibility, and the reasoning behind resilience decisions.
- Step 01
Consult
We review infrastructure and cloud responsibilities, assessing networking and Linux familiarity and identifying gaps in project setup, access design, or operational cost awareness.
- Step 02
Plan
Cloud and project foundations lead into resource hierarchy and IAM, compute and networking, storage, and monitoring before the resilient application deployment case.
- Step 03
Align
We align Google Cloud infrastructure expertise with engineering and technical-lead roles, confirming suitable practice projects, permissions, and budget arrangements before provisioning exercises.
- Step 04
Customize
Sample team roles, workloads, and data stores reflect familiar infrastructure needs, allowing configuration comparisons in controlled projects rather than existing operational environments.
- Step 05
Execute
Participants configure VPCs, deploy compute, and set monitoring and spend alerts, receiving feedback on access boundaries, connectivity, storage choices, and observed workload behavior.
- Step 06
Evaluate
We assess the multi-tier deployment for functioning connectivity, justified resource choices, verified access, useful monitoring, and an explained approach to resilience and cost control.
