Program Overview: What is Architecting with Google Cloud?
Architecting with Google Cloud is a 32-hour instructor-led program for cloud engineers and solution architects designing workloads on Google Cloud. It covers VPC networking, compute and container patterns, data and analytics design, security and IAM, cost modeling, and multi-region resilience across eight modules. Participants learn to architect enterprise-grade solutions that are secure, cost-aware, and highly available.
Each module pairs short instructor teach-backs with guided lab time in live Google Cloud projects, so learners build as they learn. They design VPC networks, deploy containerized workloads, configure IAM and security controls, and stress-test failover across regions. Instructors coach architecture trade-offs and review each design, giving feedback at every checkpoint. The program closes with a capstone where each team architects a complete enterprise solution on Google Cloud and defends it in a design review.
Cloud teams often lift and shift workloads into Google Cloud, then discover spiraling costs, flat security, and single-region fragility only after launch. This program teaches the opposite habit: designing from network, security, and cost foundations up. Participants learn to weigh architecture trade-offs early, when a better design is still cheap to adopt.
Teams present an enterprise GCP solution with the costs and risks spelled out. Stakeholders get architects who answer the hard questions before being asked.
Well-architected cloud systems reduce downtime, control spend, and speed delivery. Participants practice the trade-offs behind every decision: availability versus cost, agility versus control, and speed versus security, so their designs hold up under production pressure. Teams leave with reusable Google Cloud architecture patterns, a cost-modeling approach, and a security baseline they can apply to the next workload they ship.

Architecting with Google Cloud Course Topics and Program Outline
A 32-hour hybrid program across eight modules, blending instructor-led sessions with guided labs on real Google Cloud architecture workloads, closing with a full design-and-build capstone.
Built by Edstellar with cloud architecture practitioners
Built by engineers who design and run production Google Cloud workloads, shaped around your stack and use cases.
Skill checks baseline your team's Google Cloud design experience and architecture habits before training begins.
Instructor-led sessions build core Google Cloud foundations: resource design, networking, and service selection.
Guided labs put patterns to work: teams build VPCs, secure workloads, and optimize costs on real Google Cloud services.
Real-world scenarios and the capstone build apply every pattern to designs your team will ship in production.
From Google Cloud foundations to a full architecture capstone, every pattern is practiced in guided labs.

Teams that Benefit from this Architecting with Google Cloud Group Training
Cloud architects, platform engineers, and data teams learn side by side in this group training, each practicing the design workflows they own. Content adapts to role and experience, so every cohort strengthens the architecture skills it uses daily.
Ship designs that hold up under production load and audit.
Architects standardize resilient patterns across services, align designs to cost and security guardrails, and review peer architectures with confidence.
Workflow friction
- Inconsistent architecture standards across teams
- Designs that fail under real traffic spikes
- Cost and security trade-offs made too late
How the program helps
- Proven multi-tier and multi-region design patterns
- Architecture review habits that catch risks early
- Cost and security guardrails baked into designs
Practice use cases
- Multi-tier design labs
- Failover drills
- Well-Architected reviews
Run platforms your product teams can build on safely.
Platform engineers build landing zones, shared networks, and guardrails that let product teams ship fast without breaking security or cost budgets.
Workflow friction
- Ad-hoc projects with no consistent baseline
- Network and IAM debt slowing every release
- No shared guardrails for cost and security
How the program helps
- Landing zone and VPC design patterns
- Reusable IAM and policy guardrails
- Cost and quota visibility for teams
Practice use cases
- Landing zone labs
- Shared VPC builds
- Policy guardrail drills
Automate delivery without losing control of the design.
DevOps engineers connect architecture to operations, automating deployments, observability, and failover so designs perform the way they were drawn.
Workflow friction
- Manual deploys that drift from the design
- Failover plans never tested until an outage
- Observability added after incidents, not before
How the program helps
- Deployment and scaling automation patterns
- Tested failover runbooks for critical apps
- SLO-based observability from day one
Practice use cases
- CI/CD design labs
- Failover test drills
- SLO setup sessions
Design data platforms that scale without cost surprises.
Data engineers architect storage, pipelines, and analytics that stay fast and affordable as data grows, with security and governance built in.
Workflow friction
- Storage costs growing faster than data value
- Pipelines that break under peak loads
- Analytics and security teams out of sync
How the program helps
- Tiered storage and lifecycle patterns
- Scalable streaming and batch pipelines
- Governed analytics with built-in controls
Practice use cases
- Lakehouse design labs
- Pipeline scaling drills
- Cost review exercises
Each cohort works through role-relevant labs and design exercises, then leaves with reusable architecture patterns for day-to-day work.
Prerequisites: This program benefits cloud architects, platform engineers, and DevOps teams who design or run Google Cloud workloads. Basic cloud concepts and networking familiarity help but are not required, and no prior Google Cloud certification is needed. Sessions adapt to each cohort's tools and context, so every team practices on its own stack.
Cloud Engineer to Cloud Architect
This path tracks each skill from first exposure to confident practice across the program. Foundation skills are introduced in early modules; intermediate skills are built in guided labs; advanced and very advanced capability is demonstrated through integration exercises and the capstone review board.
A program that grows with cloud careers, from first Google Cloud design to confident production architecture.

Design Google Cloud Architectures with Tested Resilience and Clear Trade-Offs
Our Google Cloud architecture training links networking, compute, data, and security decisions to a coherent enterprise design. Participants build and inspect representative components, model costs, and rehearse recovery. The capstone asks teams to defend their architecture using workload requirements, practical observations, and explicit assumptions rather than a collection of service names.
- Step 01
Consult
We review your workload requirements and architectural responsibilities, identifying where networking, container platforms, data design, governance, or disaster recovery needs deeper practice.
- Step 02
Plan
We establish project foundations before VPC and compute patterns, data pipelines, IAM controls, cost modeling, and multi-region recovery in the enterprise design exercise.
- Step 03
Align
We align architecture, platform, and DevOps experience with the lab scope, checking cloud and networking foundations and the access needed for controlled exercises.
- Step 04
Customize
We tailor workload and recovery briefs to representative enterprise needs, including segmented networks, reporting data, scaling behavior, and clearly stated cost assumptions.
- Step 05
Execute
Participants configure a VPC, scale a containerized service, inspect data pipelines, and rehearse failover with feedback on security boundaries and design consistency.
- Step 06
Evaluate
We assess the architecture review for justified service choices, least-privilege design, cost reasoning, and a recovery plan supported by the runbook drill.
