Program Overview: What is Enterprise Data Literacy?
Enterprise Data Literacy is a 24-hour program for business teams, managers, and non-technical staff who need to read, question, and use data with confidence. It covers data foundations, data quality and trust, finding answers in data, dashboards and data stories, and turning insight into action. Participants work with real business datasets, not toy examples.
Training is practical across six modules with six practice sessions woven in. Short concept sessions introduce one skill at a time, then participants interrogate real datasets, spot quality problems, and build dashboards and data stories in guided exercises. Instructors who teach data to non-technical audiences coach every exercise. Feedback targets judgment: asking the right question of the data, reading a chart without being misled, and knowing when the numbers cannot support the conclusion.
Data illiteracy is expensive: decisions based on gut feel, dashboards nobody questions, and metrics that quietly mislead. The program teaches teams to treat data as evidence: check the source, question the chart, and demand the context behind the number. Conversations shift from opinions to arguments grounded in what the data actually shows.
The capstone is a data story project: each team takes a messy real-world dataset, finds the story worth telling, and presents it as a dashboard and narrative to a skeptical audience. Instructors play the skeptical executive, probing every claim and chart choice. Teams finish with a presentation they can defend and the habit of making every business argument earn its data.
Most teams sit on more data than they use, because reading and questioning data is not part of daily work. This program changes that: learners practice with realistic business datasets, spot quality issues, and build the habit of checking numbers before trusting them. The program is built for business users, not just analysts. Every concept is paired with a guided lab, so learners query, clean, visualize, and present data themselves instead of watching demonstrations. By the end, your team reads dashboards critically, asks sharper questions of analysts, and communicates findings with charts and stories that land.

Where this Training Fits in Your Team's learning path.
Enterprise data literacy is the first step in this path. Before your team analyses data or makes decisions with it, everyone needs a shared way to read and question it. The later courses build on that base with analytics, data-driven decisions and decision intelligence.
