Program Overview: What is DORA Digital Operational Resilience?
DORA Digital Operational Resilience is a program for technology and risk teams building ICT resilience under the EU's Digital Operational Resilience Act. It covers the DORA framework, ICT risk management framework design, incident management, classification, and reporting, resilience testing and threat-led penetration testing, and ICT third-party risk and concentration management. Participants learn to make digital resilience testable and demonstrable.
The program runs as instructor-led sessions across 24 hours, pairing DORA concepts with hands-on resilience labs. Participants build ICT risk frameworks, practice incident classification and reporting, design testing programs including threat-led penetration testing, and assess third-party concentration risk. Instructors with operational resilience experience review every design across the practice sessions. It ends with the Enterprise DORA Readiness Build-Out capstone, a complete readiness build each team delivers.
Operational resilience fails where it is untested: incident playbooks nobody has run, third-party dependencies nobody has mapped, and recovery plans that exist only in slides. DORA demands evidence, not assertions. This program teaches teams to generate that evidence continuously, through testing, classification discipline, and honest third-party scrutiny.
The capstone is the Enterprise DORA Readiness Build-Out: a complete readiness build covering the ICT risk framework, incident classification and reporting flows, a resilience testing program with threat-led penetration testing, and third-party risk mapping. Your team returns with a build they can show a supervisor, not a gap analysis they have to explain.
Over 24 hours, the program moves from the DORA framework and supervisory expectations into deep implementation practice: ICT risk management design, incident triage and reporting labs, resilience testing cycles, and third-party risk registers with exit strategies. The capstone has teams assemble a complete DORA readiness pack with documentation, playbooks, and a testing roadmap reviewed by the instructor.

Where this Training Fits in Your Team's learning path.
DORA sets EU rules for ICT risk in financial entities, so your team learns operational risk and resilience first. This course covers DORA itself. The path then moves into managing ICT third parties and into cyber resilience and continuity planning.

Make Digital Operational Resilience Reviewable Through Controls, Tests, and Evidence
Edstellar develops DORA readiness through ICT risk governance, incident classification, resilience testing, and third-party oversight. Teams connect framework requirements to sample policies, reports, and supplier records, using isolated environments for testing practice. The final readiness pack is assessed for traceable evidence, coordinated playbooks, and a justified testing roadmap rather than regulatory approval.
- Step 01
Consult
We examine ICT, security, and compliance responsibilities to identify gaps in risk-framework ownership, incident classification, resilience testing, supplier information, and concentration-risk oversight.
- Step 02
Plan
We establish DORA's framework before ICT risk policies and incident reporting, then resilience testing and third-party controls within an integrated readiness pack.
- Step 03
Align
We align operational-resilience expertise with technology, security, risk, and compliance teams, introducing regulatory concepts and setting explicit boundaries for isolated testing exercises.
- Step 04
Customize
We adapt fictional financial entities, ICT incidents, supplier contracts, and concentration scenarios to relevant operating models, keeping resilience exercises away from live systems.
- Step 05
Execute
Teams classify incidents, draft reports, test controlled resilience scenarios, and build supplier registers, receiving feedback on evidence quality, exit arrangements, and control ownership.
- Step 06
Evaluate
We assess the readiness pack for coherent policies, justified incident decisions, documented test findings, and third-party controls connected to a prioritized resilience roadmap.
