Program Overview: What is Qatar PDPPL Data Protection Compliance?
Qatar PDPPL Data Protection Compliance is a hands-on corporate program for teams that process personal data under Qatar's Law No. 13 of 2016. It covers consent and lawful purpose, individual rights, breach notification, security controls, and cross-border transfer rules. Participants apply the law's duties to their own data handling through guided practice and realistic drills.
Training is instructor-led and built around practice, with each of the six modules pairing concept sessions with exercises on realistic scenarios. Participants run individual-rights handling drills, work through breach notification scenarios, and draft consent notices and processor controls for their own operations. Instructors review their work across the sessions and coach them on what the regulator expects to see. The program closes with a capstone PDPPL compliance health check of a real processing environment, presented for review.
Most teams know Qatar has a data protection law but cannot say what it demands of them daily, so consent, rights requests, and breaches are handled by guesswork. The program replaces guesswork with working routines: valid consent, end-to-end rights handling, and correct breach notification. Teams return with tested procedures they can run immediately.
The capstone is a compliance health check with teeth: participants audit a real processing environment against the PDPPL's duties, document every gap in consent, rights handling, breach readiness, and transfer controls, then present a remediation plan to instructors who press them the way a regulator would. What they take back is not a certificate of attendance but a working audit report and a prioritized fix list for their own data operations.
Content focuses on your team's training needs: we shape examples around your processing activities and regulatory exposure. Whether your team is new to data protection or upskilling for deeper responsibility, the program builds capability through hands-on practice and collaboration across functions.
From consent reviews to request handling, the program connects every concept to day-to-day work, so compliance becomes a performance habit rather than a once-a-year task.

Where this Training Fits in Your Team's learning path.

Develop Qatar Privacy Workflows Through Rights Requests, Breach Drills, and Evidence Review
Edstellar helps privacy teams apply the PDPPL curriculum to realistic data-handling scenarios. Participants examine consent and purpose, rehearse individual requests, and assess breach and transfer decisions. A sample-company health check consolidates these activities, with feedback on consistent records, justified safeguards, and remediation priorities linked to the processing evidence.
- Step 01
Consult
We review personal-data responsibilities, privacy familiarity, and difficulties with requests or disclosures to identify gaps in consent, breach documentation, or processor and transfer oversight.
- Step 02
Plan
We establish PDPPL scope and data roles before consent and notices, then practice rights handling, breach response, transfer assessment, and the complete health check.
- Step 03
Align
We align Qatar privacy governance expertise with legal, compliance, and operational roles, adapting case depth to the cohort's processing activities and prior data-protection experience.
- Step 04
Customize
We tailor fictional service notices, request files, and processor arrangements to familiar operations, using synthetic personal records for identity-check and breach-documentation exercises.
- Step 05
Execute
Participants complete timed request files, triage a simulated breach, and draft processor clauses, receiving feedback on identity verification, notification records, and safeguard rationale.
- Step 06
Evaluate
We assess the health check for supported findings, coherent rights and breach workflows, justified processor safeguards, and a prioritized roadmap traceable to the case evidence.
