Program Overview: What is Learning Experience Design and AI-Generated Learning?
Learning Experience Design & AI-Generated Learning is an instructor-led program for L&D teams, HR professionals, and enablement specialists who design learning for their organizations. Your team learns the full design journey: analyzing learner needs, building learner personas, storyboarding content, generating learning assets with AI, and designing assessments that prove impact. Sixteen hours across six modules turn subject experts into designers who build learning that actually works.
Training blends concise instruction with design labs on the team's own learning programs. Instructors coach needs analysis and learner research, guide storyboarding and content architecture, and lead hands-on labs where participants generate course assets with AI tools and review them for quality. Engagement and assessment design are practiced on real modules with detailed feedback. The program closes with a capstone where each participant designs a complete learning experience.
Too much corporate learning is content dressed up as learning: slides uploaded, boxes ticked, and nothing changes on the job. AI now makes it trivial to generate more of the same, faster. This program teaches design discipline, so learning is engineered around the learner's job, not the designer's slide deck, and AI becomes a production accelerator for real learning, not a shortcut past it.
The capstone is a complete learning experience design built for a real program the participant owns. It includes the needs analysis and learner persona, the storyboard and content architecture, the AI-generated assets with quality controls, and the engagement and assessment plan. Reviewed by the instructor and presented to the cohort, the design goes back as a build-ready blueprint, turning the next course the team ships into one designed for impact instead of completion rates.
Six modules and 16 hours: LXD foundations, needs analysis, storyboarding, AI-generated content, engagement and assessment, and a capstone where each participant presents a complete learning experience blueprint. Every concept is rehearsed in guided scenarios.
Delivery is hybrid across virtual and onsite sessions, scheduled around your calendar. Cohorts train as one group or split into batches, with session materials and scenario guides included for every participant.

Design Learning Experiences With Learner Evidence and Reviewed AI Content
Edstellar connects learner-centered design with responsible AI-assisted content development. Participants investigate needs, build personas, and storyboard learning before generating and reviewing sample assets. Engagement and assessment exercises complete the blueprint, with feedback on alignment, accessibility, content accuracy, and how practice and evaluation address the learner's actual work rather than simply adding more material.
- Step 01
Consult
We explore program-design responsibilities, learner knowledge, and current AI-content practices to identify gaps in needs analysis, storyboarding, assessment, or quality review.
- Step 02
Plan
We establish learner-centered principles and research before storyboarding and content architecture, then connect AI-assisted production, engagement, and assessment in the complete learning-experience blueprint.
- Step 03
Align
We align learning design and AI-content review expertise with L&D, HR, talent, and enablement roles, confirming suitable learning briefs and tools without assuming previous design experience.
- Step 04
Customize
We adapt stakeholder interviews, learner personas, and module scenarios to familiar programs, retaining explicit learning goals against which AI-generated lessons and assessment ideas can be reviewed.
- Step 05
Execute
Participants interview stakeholder stand-ins, storyboard modules, and critique AI-generated assets, receiving feedback on accuracy, bias, learner alignment, and the quality of scenario-based assessments.
- Step 06
Evaluate
We assess the blueprint for research-linked goals, coherent learning architecture, reviewed AI assets, and engagement and assessment choices that provide observable evidence of the intended learning.
