Program Overview: What is Conflict Management?
Conflict Management is a 16-hour program for managers, team leads, HR professionals, and anyone who works with people. It covers conflict styles and self-awareness, communication for tense conversations, de-escalation, negotiation and mediation essentials, and stakeholder and team conflict dynamics. Short concept sessions alternate with intensive practice: diagnosing styles, mediating staged disputes, and resolving a full multi-party scenario.
Training runs across six modules with six practice sessions built on live dispute work. Participants diagnose their own conflict styles, rehearse difficult conversations, practice de-escalation routines, and mediate staged disputes with instructor feedback on technique and composure. Coaches help each person build conversation frameworks they can reach for under pressure. The program closes with a capstone showcase: a live, multi-party conflict the team must resolve.
Avoided conflict does not disappear; it compounds. The unresolved disagreement becomes the withheld information, the delayed decision, the resignation letter. Teams pay for every conversation managers dodge. This program teaches the opposite instinct: address conflict early, diagnose what is really driving it, de-escalate without surrendering, and mediate toward agreements people actually keep.
The capstone is a live showcase with real stakes: the team must resolve a full multi-party conflict scenario in front of peers. It pulls together everything rehearsed (style diagnosis, de-escalation, mediation technique, stakeholder management) into one continuous negotiation where the disputants do not make it easy. The team leaves with a recorded resolution, a debrief on what worked, and conversation frameworks plus de-escalation routines they have already tested under fire: the confidence to address the next real conflict early instead of avoiding it.
The program blends short concept sessions with intensive practice: diagnosing conflict styles, rehearsing difficult conversations, mediating staged disputes, and resolving a full multi-party scenario in the capstone showcase. Teams leave with conversation frameworks, de-escalation routines, and the confidence to address conflict early instead of avoiding it.
