Program Overview: What is Java Full Stack?
Java Full Stack is Edstellar's instructor-led program for developers building complete web applications with Java on the backend and modern front-end tooling. It covers Spring Boot foundations, REST API development, data persistence with JPA, front-end development, and security, testing, and deployment across six modules and 24 hours. Participants learn to own an application end to end. It is built for full-stack engineering teams.
Training is hands-on from the first module. Participants build REST APIs, wire them to databases, develop the front end, and secure and deploy the stack in five guided labs. Instructors coach each developer through integration, testing, and pipeline setup, giving direct feedback on their application builds. Modules progress from Spring Boot foundations through APIs, persistence, front end, and production pipelines. It closes with a full-stack application build capstone reviewed by the instructor.
Full-stack developers often know one layer well and patch the others together, producing apps with fragile front ends or untested backends. Handoffs between specialists slow delivery. This program teaches your developers to build across the stack confidently, so one engineer can take a feature from database to browser and ship it.
The capstone is a full-stack application build: Spring Boot backend, database persistence, front end, security, and deployment pipeline, demoed live and reviewed by the instructor. Your developers return with a working application and the cross-stack craft to deliver features independently, from data model to user interface.
Six modules and 24 hours: Java and Spring Boot foundations, REST API development, data persistence, front-end engineering, security and testing, and a capstone full-stack build. Every module pairs instruction with a hands-on lab, and the program closes with a deployed application your team builds and presents.

Six instructor-led modules take your team from Java and Spring Boot foundations through REST APIs, data persistence, and front-end development to security, testing, and deployment, ending with a capstone build. Guided hands-on labs run in every module.
Built by Edstellar with Java full-stack engineering expertise
Built by engineers who design and ship full-stack Java applications in production, shaped around your stack and use cases.
We baseline your team's Java, API, and front-end skills so every lab starts at the right depth for your developers.
Instructor-led sessions cover Spring Boot, REST design, persistence, and front-end patterns with live code demonstrations.
Your team builds services, APIs, and user interfaces in guided labs with instructor coaching on real working code.
Teams integrate the full stack, harden security and testing, then ship a working capstone application for review.
Every module pairs concept delivery with guided practice, so skills are proven in working code, not just discussed.

Key Skills and Outcomes Your Team Will Gain
Your team leaves able to design, build, and deploy full-stack Java applications: Spring Boot services, REST APIs, persistence, and modern front ends, proven in guided labs and a capstone build.
Build Spring Boot back ends
Structure services, wire dependencies, and manage configuration for maintainable Java back ends.
Design RESTful APIs
Model resources, version endpoints, and document APIs teams can integrate with confidence.
Persist data with JPA & SQL
Map entities, manage transactions, and write efficient queries against relational databases.
Develop modern front ends
Compose reusable components, manage state, and connect user interfaces to REST services.
Secure full-stack applications
Apply authentication, authorization, and input validation across the back end and front end.
Test across the stack
Write unit, integration, and contract tests that catch regressions before release.
Deploy Java applications
Package services and front ends and promote them through repeatable deployment pipelines.
Teams that Benefit from this Java Full Stack Group Training
Built for product and platform teams that own web applications end to end. Front-end, back-end, and QA engineers train together, and the agenda adapts to each cohort's stack and experience so every group practices the workflows it owns.
Ship full-stack features with one team
Full-stack developers own features from database to browser. This program gives them consistent patterns for services, APIs, and user interfaces.
Workflow friction
- Inconsistent coding conventions
- Slow API to UI integration
- Fragile data access code
How the program helps
- Consistent back-end and API patterns
- Faster feature delivery end to end
- Cleaner integration between layers
Practice use cases
- REST services
- CRUD features
- Full-stack builds
Connect polished UIs to real services
Front-end engineers build the interfaces users touch. They learn to consume REST APIs reliably and structure maintainable client code.
Workflow friction
- Brittle API integration code
- Unmanaged client-side state
- Inconsistent error handling
How the program helps
- Reliable API consumption patterns
- Maintainable component structure
- Smoother collaboration with back end
Practice use cases
- Component UIs
- API integration

Build services the whole team can use
Back-end engineers design the services and data layer. They practice API design, persistence, and security with production discipline.
Workflow friction
- Undocumented API contracts
- Slow or fragile queries
- Security added too late
How the program helps
- Well-designed, documented APIs
- Reliable data persistence
- Security built into services
Practice use cases
- Spring services
- Data modeling
- API security
Test and ship with confidence
QA and release engineers keep quality high. They learn testing strategies across the stack and repeatable deployment pipelines.
Workflow friction
- Manual regression burden
- Inconsistent environments
- Late-stage integration failures
How the program helps
- Automated tests across layers
- Repeatable release pipelines
- Earlier defect detection
Practice use cases
- Test automation
- CI pipelines
- Release checks
Cohorts are grouped by function so labs match the workflows each team owns; cross-team exercises in the capstone rebuild the full delivery loop.
Prerequisites: Best suited to developers with working knowledge of Java and basic web concepts. Familiarity with any back-end framework or front-end library helps but is not required. The program adapts examples and lab depth to each cohort's tools and experience.
Developer to Full-Stack Specialist
Each skill maps to the modules where it is taught, practiced, and applied, so progress is visible in working code.
A progression that grows with developer careers, from Java basics to confident full-stack delivery.
Mixed cohort, or several teams at once?
We can tailor the training to different teams, roles, and experience levels within the same program.
Certificate of Training Completion.
On successful completion, employees receive an Edstellar course completion certificate, recognizing their commitment to ongoing learning and professional development. It validates the skills they have built and motivates them to keep growing and contribute to organizational success.
Earned, not attended. Awarded on completion of all hands-on labs and the capstone project.

Where this Training Fits in Your Team's learning path.
Java full stack follows core Java in this path. Your developers build complete applications from database to browser, test them properly with JUnit and TestNG, and then split growing systems into microservices once one codebase becomes hard to release.
