Program Overview: What is JavaScript?
JavaScript is Edstellar's instructor-led program for developers building modern web applications across the front end and Node.js backends. It covers language foundations, modern syntax and tooling, front-end engineering, backend JavaScript, and production performance across six modules and 24 hours. Participants learn to write JavaScript that scales from browser to server. It is built for web and full-stack engineering teams.
Training is hands-on from the first module. Participants build interactive front ends, develop Node.js APIs, and optimize bundles and runtime performance in three guided labs. Instructors coach each developer through debugging, testing, and code structure, giving direct feedback on their application builds. Modules progress from language foundations through tooling, front end, backend, and production delivery. It closes with a full-stack JavaScript application capstone reviewed by the instructor.
JavaScript is easy to start and easy to misuse: callback tangles, untested bundles, and performance cliffs haunt teams that learned it informally. Framework churn hides weak language fundamentals. This program teaches your developers JavaScript properly, from the language's core mechanics to production patterns, so they build fast, maintainable applications on any framework.
The capstone is a full-stack JavaScript application: front end, Node.js backend, tests, and a production build pipeline, demoed live and reviewed by the instructor. Your developers return with deep language fluency and the engineering habits to write JavaScript that performs, tests cleanly, and deploys reliably.
Six modules and 24 hours: language foundations, modern JavaScript and tooling, frontend engineering, Node.js services, and production practices with deployment. Every module pairs concepts with a guided lab, so each technique is practiced. It closes with a capstone build the team plans, codes, tests, and presents.
Delivery is hybrid across virtual and onsite sessions, scheduled around your calendar. Cohorts train as one group or split into batches, with session materials and lab guides included for every participant.
