Program Overview: What is TypeScript?
TypeScript is Edstellar's instructor-led technical program for JavaScript developers and frontend teams adopting typed development. Participants master TypeScript language foundations, advanced types and patterns, and typed frontend engineering. The curriculum covers Node.js APIs in TypeScript and production practices for quality and delivery.
Training is code-heavy from the first module. Participants write TypeScript in their editors from day one, modeling domains with advanced types and building typed frontend features in guided labs. Instructors coach your team through Node.js API development, strict compiler settings, and production quality practices, reviewing every pull request with direct feedback. The program closes with a capstone where the team ships a full-stack TypeScript application.
JavaScript teams drown in runtime errors that a compiler could have caught, and any-typed codebases rot faster than plain JS. Developers treat TypeScript as documentation instead of a design tool. This program teaches your people to use the type system as engineering discipline, so the compiler catches bugs before your users do.
The capstone is a shipped product, not a tutorial: a full-stack TypeScript application with a typed frontend, a Node.js API, strict compiler settings throughout, and the quality gates the course teaches. Each team demos, defends its type design decisions, and survives an instructor code review. Participants return with an application they can show and a codebase standard their team can enforce.
Six modules and 24 hours: language foundations, advanced types and patterns, typed frontend engineering, Node.js APIs, and production practices. Every module pairs concepts with a guided lab, so each technique is practiced. It closes with a capstone build the team plans, codes, tests, and presents.
Delivery is hybrid across virtual and onsite sessions, scheduled around your calendar. Cohorts train as one group or split into batches, with session materials and lab guides included for every participant.

Key Skills and Outcomes Your Team Will Gain
Seven job-ready outcomes your team will demonstrate by the end of the program. Each competency is practiced in guided labs and reviewed in the capstone build.
Write idiomatic TypeScript
Use types, interfaces, and generics the way production TypeScript teams do.
Apply advanced type patterns
Model domains with mapped, conditional, and utility types safely.
Work with TS tooling
Run tsc builds, strict tsconfig, and linting, and debug effectively.
Build typed frontends
Design component-based UIs with typed state and validated forms.
Build Node.js APIs
Create typed Express APIs with Zod validation and data access.
Test typed codebases
Cover TypeScript code with tests that catch regressions early.
Deploy and observe apps
Ship TypeScript apps with CI pipelines, error tracking, and monitoring.
Teams that Benefit from this TypeScript Group Training
This group training is built for engineering teams building or maintaining software with TypeScript who want dependable delivery without heroics. Content adapts to each cohort’s roles, stack, and experience, so every batch practices the workflows it owns, from type-system basics to production deployment.
Build TypeScript apps your users trust.
Application developers learn the type system, advanced types, and the testing habits that keep apps healthy.
Workflow friction

Training Delivery Modes: Virtual, Onsite and Hybrid
Live sessions and guided TypeScript labs run on your schedule, with recordings and lab guides shared for review after each module.
Hybrid Training
Instructor-led sessions mix onsite and virtual delivery with guided labs throughout. Teams build real TypeScript applications while the instructor coaches and reviews code. Hybrid keeps scheduling flexible without losing live interaction.
- Live instruction across onsite and virtual sessions
- Guided labs with instructor coaching and code reviews
- Real TypeScript application workflows throughout
- Flexible scheduling without losing live interaction
Onsite Training
Instructor-led training at your offices, with labs set up on your network and tooling. The instructor pairs with the team in person, reviews code together, and tunes exercises to your stack and workflows.
