Program Overview: What is Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect?
Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect is Edstellar's instructor-led program for architects and senior engineers designing cloud solutions on Azure. It is designed for professionals who make design decisions, not just deployments, and covers governance, identity architecture, virtual networking, data and storage design, and resilient workload patterns. The emphasis throughout is defensible architecture, not button-clicking.
Training is design-studio style, built around real enterprise scenarios rather than step-by-step labs. Participants evaluate requirements, weigh trade-offs, and draw solution architectures across identity, networking, data, and resiliency. Instructors challenge every decision live, forcing participants to justify costs, availability targets, and security choices. The program closes with a capstone where each architect produces and defends an end-to-end solution design.
Azure projects fail at the whiteboard long before they fail in the cloud: no governance, identity as an afterthought, single points of failure nobody noticed. This program trains architects to catch those failures early, design for scale and failure, and document decisions stakeholders can trust. The payoff is solutions that survive review, audit, and production reality.
The final deliverable is the end-to-end solution design capstone: a documented Azure architecture covering governance, identity, networking, data, and resiliency, presented and defended in a live design review with the instructor playing the skeptical stakeholder.
The program improves your team's architecture practice from first sketch to production. Teams apply proven design guidance to their own workloads, compare service trade-offs, and document decisions so designs survive review. Cross-team collaboration is built into every session. Each module pairs concepts with a hands-on lab, so new skills are tested the same day they are taught. Your teams leave with reusable templates, checklists, and reference architectures they can apply immediately.

Develop Azure Architectures That Explain Resilience, Connectivity, and Governance Trade-Offs
Edstellar helps architecture teams connect Azure design choices across governance, identity, networking, and data. Participants build and test representative configurations before exploring scale and recovery decisions. The final solution is defended through its requirements and trade-offs, with review focused on coherent boundaries, tested resilience, and transparent cost and security assumptions.
- Step 01
Consult
We examine cloud design responsibilities, networking familiarity, and workload requirements to identify gaps in landing zones, hybrid connectivity, identity architecture, and resilience decisions.
- Step 02
Plan
We build from governance and identity to network connectivity and data services, then test scalable workloads and recovery before defending the complete solution architecture.
- Step 03
Align
We align Azure architecture expertise with cloud, platform, and DevOps roles, adjusting foundational support and design-review depth to the cohort's workload and networking experience.
- Step 04
Customize
Sample workloads, hybrid network layouts, and recovery scenarios reflect familiar architecture constraints, supporting tailored service choices without introducing changes to existing enterprise environments.
- Step 05
Execute
Participants configure governed foundations, design private connectivity, test backup and failover, and compare scaling choices, receiving feedback on architectural consistency and documented trade-offs.
- Step 06
Evaluate
We assess the solution design for justified service selection, coherent identity and network controls, demonstrated recovery assumptions, and transparent reasoning about resilience and cost.
