Program Overview: What is Multi-Cloud Architecture and Landing Zones?
Multi-Cloud Architecture & Landing Zones is Edstellar's instructor-led technical program for cloud architects, platform engineers, and infrastructure leads who run production workloads across more than one provider. It covers multi-cloud placement strategy, landing zone design fundamentals, cross-cloud networking, federated identity and security guardrails, plus FinOps and observability to keep multi-cloud estates under control.
Training is hands-on from the first module. Teams compare placement drivers and choose where each workload belongs, then build the landing zone baseline: organization hierarchy, accounts, and network topology in a lab environment. Later sessions wire secure cross-cloud connectivity, federate identity with least-privilege policies, and stand up cost and reliability dashboards, with instructors reviewing every design decision. The program closes with a six-hour capstone where teams present a complete landing zone build for critique.
Most teams arrive with cloud sprawl: ad-hoc accounts, inconsistent networking, and security policies that differ per provider. Costs drift and audits become painful. This program teaches them to replace that sprawl with one governed foundation, where every account, network, and permission follows the same guardrails and spend is visible in one place.
The capstone ends with teams defending their multi-cloud landing zone build in front of reviewers: account hierarchy, hub networking, federated identity, and guardrails documented as the company's cloud baseline. Instructors mark which pieces are production-ready and which need rework. What participants carry back is a reviewed, critiqued design they can defend to security and finance when the real migration gets funded.
As estates grow across providers, teams face fragmented networks, inconsistent identity models, and rising cost. This program builds the capability to fix that: participants practice designing account structures, connecting clouds securely, enforcing policy as code, and running FinOps across providers. The result is a workforce that can standardize a landing zone, improve reliability, and enhance day-to-day collaboration between platform, security, and finance teams.

Multi-Cloud Architecture and Landing Zones Course Topics and Program Outline
Six modules take your team from multi-cloud strategy to a reviewed landing zone build. Every module pairs concept delivery with guided labs, closing in a 6-hour capstone where teams deploy a complete, guardrailed landing zone.
Built by Edstellar with cloud platform architects
Built by engineers who run multi-cloud landing zones in production, shaped around your stack and use cases.
Skill checks map each learner's cloud networking, identity, and FinOps baseline before the program starts.
Foundations cover multi-cloud strategy, account hierarchy, and landing zone design principles in live sessions.
Guided labs build cross-cloud networking, identity federation, and policy guardrails on real-style estates.
Teams run FinOps and operations, then deliver a reviewed multi-cloud landing zone in the capstone build.
From strategy to a reviewed landing zone, every concept is practiced in hands-on labs.

Key Skills and Outcomes Your Team Will Gain
Seven outcomes your team will carry back to work: design and operate landing zones that keep every cloud secure, connected, and cost-controlled.
Design landing zone hierarchies
Structure organizations, accounts, and billing units across providers with naming, tagging, and policy baselines.
Build cross-cloud networks
Connect clouds with hub-and-spoke topologies, peering, and dedicated links, keeping DNS and segmentation consistent.
Enforce identity guardrails
Run single sign-on across providers, design least-privilege roles, and enforce policy as code with drift remediation.
Control multi-cloud cost
Allocate spend with tags and showback, set budgets, and catch anomalies before they reach the invoice.
Operate across providers
Centralize logs and metrics, run cross-cloud incident response, and keep landing zone health reviews cadenced.
Evaluate workload placement
Compare cloud models and services to place workloads by cost, risk, and portability.
Capstone zone build
Deploy a complete multi-cloud landing zone and defend the architecture decisions in an instructor review.

Prerequisites: This program benefits cloud platform engineers, DevOps and SRE teams, security staff, and FinOps practitioners who run workloads across clouds. Familiarity with one public cloud helps but is not required, and no prior multi-cloud experience is needed. Content adapts to each cohort's providers, roles, and experience.
Cloud Engineer to Multi-Cloud Architect
The program maps to cloud career growth: early modules build foundations in strategy and account design, middle modules develop hands-on depth in networking and identity, and the capstone delivers very advanced landing zone delivery.
A program that grows with cloud careers, from first multi-cloud concepts to confident landing zone design.
Mixed cohort, or several teams at once?
We can tailor the training to different teams, roles, and experience levels within the same program.
Certificate of Training Completion.
On successful completion, employees receive an Edstellar course completion certificate, recognizing their commitment to ongoing learning and professional development. It validates the skills they have built and motivates them to keep growing and contribute to organizational success.

Where this Training Fits in Your Team's learning path.
Landing zones sit early in the path, right after cloud basics, because every later workload lands on them. Your team designs the account structure, networking and guardrails here. Infrastructure as code then makes that design repeatable, and governance frameworks keep the estate compliant as it grows.
