Program Overview: What is Customer Service Team Leadership?
Customer Service Team Leadership is a 24-hour instructor-led program for service team leads, supervisors, and QA coaches who want to turn good agents into a high-performing service team. Participants learn to read service metrics and QA scorecards, score and coach calls, build schedules that hold service levels, and run escalations and recovery. It is designed for leaders who own team performance, not just their own.
Training runs as live sessions built around leadership practice. Participants run coaching labs on real call reviews, build workforce schedules in hands-on labs, and rehearse escalation and recovery responses with their peers. Instructors coach the coaching itself, sharpening how leads give feedback, read scorecards, and manage the floor. The program closes with a capstone: a service team turnaround lab built around the team's real metrics.
Most service leads are promoted for being great agents, then left to figure out leadership alone. QA scores drift, coaching becomes a checkbox, and schedules break under real volume. This program closes that gap by teaching the leadership mechanics: metrics that matter, coaching that changes behavior, and workforce plans that survive contact with reality. Leads leave running their team with a system, not instincts.
The capstone is a service team turnaround lab: participants take their own team's scorecards, QA trends, and scheduling pain, then build a turnaround plan with coaching cadences, metric targets, and recovery protocols. They present it to reviewers who test it against the team's actual numbers. What they return with is a working leadership operating system for their team, ready to run in the next shift huddle.
Six modules and 24 hours: service leadership foundations, service metrics and QA, coaching labs, workforce management, escalations and recovery, and a capstone turnaround plan. Every module pairs concepts with a guided lab, so each technique is practiced. It closes with a capstone the team builds, validates, and presents for instructor review.

Lead Service Teams Through Quality Coaching and Evidence-Based Workforce Decisions
Edstellar helps service leaders connect daily routines with performance analysis, coaching, scheduling, and escalation handling. Participants examine sample calls and demand data before developing a team improvement plan. The final review focuses on how service evidence informs priorities, staffing assumptions, and practical leadership actions rather than treating metrics as conclusions by themselves.
- Step 01
Consult
We explore team-lead responsibilities and frontline experience to identify gaps in scorecard interpretation, agent coaching, workforce planning, and escalation leadership.
- Step 02
Plan
We establish service leadership routines before metrics and QA, call-review coaching, and roster planning, then recovery drills and the team turnaround plan.
- Step 03
Align
We align service-management facilitation with supervisors, team leads, and QA coaches, matching channel examples and leadership support to existing frontline experience.
- Step 04
Customize
We tailor sample calls, dashboard trends, and forecast scenarios to relevant service teams while protecting employee identities and keeping staffing assumptions explicit.
- Step 05
Execute
Participants run huddles, coach call reviews, and adjust rosters for shrinkage, receiving feedback on evidence interpretation, constructive feedback, and coverage trade-offs.
- Step 06
Evaluate
We assess the turnaround plan for supported coaching priorities, coherent staffing assumptions, clear escalation routines, and a practical cadence for reviewing team progress.
