Program Overview: What is Zscaler Internet Access?
Zscaler Internet Access is Edstellar's instructor-led program for network and security teams deploying or operating Zscaler Internet Access in a zero trust model. It covers ZIA architecture and forwarding, the policy framework, URL filtering and cloud app control, SSL inspection, DLP, identity, and analytics. Teams configure the full stack in guided exercises mapped to their own policy requirements.
Training runs across six modules in 24 instructor-led hours, with live traffic in the lab from the first module. Your team practices forwarding methods, policy structure and precedence, URL and cloud app filtering, SSL inspection, DLP rules, identity integration, and analytics investigations. Instructors tune the exercises to your users, locations, and existing proxy estate, coaching every policy build against your requirements. It closes with a full end-to-end ZIA deployment capstone: validation testing, exception handling, and an operational handover runbook.
Teams that still backhaul internet traffic through data-center appliances pay twice for bandwidth and inspect almost nothing once users go remote. Unsanctioned cloud apps slip through, encrypted traffic goes uninspected, and proxy exceptions multiply into a policy nobody trusts. This program teaches your team to forward traffic to the cloud edge, enforce one policy for every user, and inspect and log threats centrally.
Your capstone is a full Zscaler Internet Access deployment, planned, staged, and configured end to end in the lab: the complete policy stack, forwarding profiles, SSL inspection with its privacy exclusions, DLP rules, and identity integration, all validated through testing and exception handling. The operational handover runbook you write alongside it is the artifact that survives the program, ready for the person who keeps the platform running after you.
Across six modules your team moves from zero trust fundamentals to a capstone end-to-end ZIA deployment. You will forward traffic, author URL and cloud app policy, enable SSL inspection, configure DLP, integrate identity, and investigate threats in analytics. The program closes with a full deployment and validation review against your policy requirements, so the skill transfers directly to your rollout.
