Program Overview: What is Amazon Redshift?
Amazon Redshift is a fully managed, petabyte-scale data warehouse service built for high-performance analytics. This 24-hour program equips data engineers, analytics engineers, and BI developers with practical skills across six modules, from cluster architecture and bulk data loading to query performance tuning and advanced analytics. Training follows an instructor-led format with guided labs and a final capstone project.
The program is delivered through hands-on, instructor-led sessions where every concept is practiced in guided labs. Participants configure Redshift clusters, load data at scale, and tune queries with expert coaching and peer feedback. Labs grow more complex through query performance tuning, advanced analytics workloads, and security and governance operations. The program closes with a 5.5-hour capstone in which each participant builds an end-to-end analytics pipeline, reviewed by the instructor before applying them to production.
Many teams move analytics workloads to the cloud but struggle with slow queries, costly cluster configurations, and unreliable data pipelines. This program teaches participants to load data efficiently, diagnose performance bottlenecks, and apply proven tuning techniques across real workloads. Teams can run Redshift at scale with confidence and cost control.
They present a tuned Redshift pipeline to the class and defend its performance numbers. Back at work, slow queries get the same treatment: measured, explained, fixed.
Across 24 instructor-led hours, learners move from architecture fundamentals to advanced analytics patterns. Modules cover data loading at scale, query performance tuning, Spectrum and federated queries, security and governance, and a capstone project where each team ships a complete analytics pipeline on Redshift.

Where this Training Fits in Your Team's learning path.
Amazon Redshift comes third here because a warehouse service only makes sense once your team knows SQL and warehouse design. With those in place, your team runs Redshift well, then widens out into the full AWS data engineering stack around it.

Build Redshift Analytics Pipelines With Performance and Governance Evidence
Edstellar helps data teams connect warehouse setup with the loading, query, and operational decisions that follow. Participants ingest data, benchmark physical-design choices, build analytics layers, and test security and recovery. An end-to-end pipeline provides evidence for reviewing performance improvements, access controls, and the rationale behind the warehouse design.
- Step 01
Consult
We explore SQL and cloud experience to identify needs in cluster configuration, scalable loading, query diagnosis, lake integration, access control, or recovery procedures.
- Step 02
Plan
We connect Redshift architecture and data loading with performance tuning and advanced analytics before applying security and operations practices in a complete pipeline build.
- Step 03
Align
We align instruction across data engineering, BI, and platform roles, using sample clusters while providing foundational support for SQL and cloud concepts where needed.
- Step 04
Customize
We tailor sample warehouse and lake datasets, slow queries, and recovery scenarios to familiar analytics workloads while retaining benchmark comparisons and access-verification exercises.
- Step 05
Execute
Participants load with COPY, inspect query plans, and test analytical views and recovery, receiving feedback on design choices, runtime evidence, and auditability.
- Step 06
Evaluate
We assess the pipeline for reliable loading, justified query and storage choices, controlled access, and tested recovery procedures supported by operational evidence.
