Program Overview: What is Azure DevOps?
Azure DevOps is Edstellar's instructor-led technical program for developers, release engineers, and teams standardizing delivery on Microsoft's toolchain. Participants master project setup, agile delivery with boards and backlogs, and repos with pull request workflows. The program covers build pipelines, release automation, and environment management.
Training is hands-on from the first module. Participants build delivery pipelines in guided labs: planning on boards, branching and pull requests in repos, then build and release pipelines with approvals. Instructors coach DevOps practices with direct feedback on every pipeline. The program closes with a capstone: an end-to-end CI/CD pipeline the team builds for a real application.
Delivery pipelines rot the same way: manual releases, pull requests nobody reviews, and environments that differ from production. This program teaches delivery discipline, automated builds, enforced reviews, and releases that are boring by design. Everything is practiced on realistic application codebases, so the pipeline survives contact with the team.
The capstone builds a working CI/CD pipeline end to end: code committed, built, tested, and released through environments with approvals, green builds, not slideware. Engineers return with a pipeline their team can adopt on Monday, and the judgment to keep it fast as the codebase grows.
Six modules and 24 hours: Azure DevOps setup, agile boards, Git workflows, YAML pipelines, release automation. Every module pairs concepts with a guided lab, so each technique is practiced. It closes with a capstone CI/CD pipeline the team plans, builds, and presents.
Delivery is hybrid across virtual and onsite sessions, scheduled around your calendar. Cohorts train as one group or split into batches, with session materials and lab guides included for every participant.

Run agile delivery on boards
Plan sprints with backlogs, boards, and queries, then track delivery on dashboards your team actually uses.
Enforce pull request workflows
Gate merges with branch policies, build validation, and required reviewers for clean, traceable history.
Author YAML pipelines
Write reusable YAML builds with templates, variables, and agents that compile, test, and package code.
Publish and manage artifacts
Publish versioned artifacts and feed packages through every stage with full traceability.
Automate gated releases
Design approval-driven release stages with gates, variable groups, and safe rollback paths.
Troubleshoot pipeline failures

Teams that Benefit from this Azure DevOps Group Training
This group training is built for DevOps, SRE, and platform teams shipping on Azure DevOps. Content adapts to each cohort's roles, stack, and experience, so every batch practices the workflows it owns, from project setup to release automation.
Ship reliable pipelines for every release.
DevOps engineers turn manual builds and releases into versioned Azure DevOps pipelines, cutting lead time and drift across environments.

Practice use cases
- Pipeline authoring labs
- Template design
- Release automation
Keep releases safe with gated delivery.
SREs use Azure DevOps gates, approvals, and monitoring hooks to keep every deployment safe and observable.
