Program Overview: What is Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)?
Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) is Edstellar's instructor-led technical program for platform engineers and DevOps teams running Kubernetes on Azure. Participants master cluster provisioning, deploying and managing workloads, and networking with ingress and security controls. The program covers storage, scaling, workload identity, and observability.
Training is hands-on from the first module. Participants run clusters in guided labs: provisioning AKS, deploying workloads, configuring ingress and network policies, then adding monitoring and autoscaling. Instructors coach production Kubernetes practice with direct feedback on every cluster. The program closes with a capstone: a production-ready AKS platform the team builds and hardens.
Kubernetes platforms fail the same way: clusters provisioned by hand, no network policies, and scaling configured after the first outage. This program teaches platform discipline, declarative clusters, secured networking, and observability from day one. Everything is practiced on realistic workload scenarios, so the platform holds up under real traffic.
The capstone builds a production-ready AKS platform: provisioned as code, workloads deployed with ingress and policies, storage and identity wired, monitoring and CI/CD attached, hardened, documented, demoed under load. Platform engineers return with a cluster they'd let real traffic hit, which is the only test that counts.
Across six modules, teams work in live AKS environments: they create clusters with the Azure CLI, deploy multi-tier applications, design Azure CNI networking with TLS ingress, add persistent storage and autoscaling, and wire up Azure Monitor observability. Later modules automate the path to production with Azure DevOps pipelines and progressive delivery strategies like canary and blue-green releases. The program closes with a capstone where each team builds and releases a production-ready AKS platform, then runs an incident drill and a full operations handover. Sessions are tuned to your Azure footprint, namespaces, and release practices.

Training Delivery Modes: Virtual, Onsite and Hybrid
Choose the delivery format that fits your team's schedule and Azure access. Every mode includes the same instructor-led sessions, guided labs, and capstone build.
Hybrid Training
The recommended format for technical programs: some team members join onsite while others join live virtual, all working in the same guided labs with the instructor.
- Same instructor and labs for onsite and remote attendees
- Shared lab environments provisioned in advance
- Flexible batching across time zones
- Capstone reviews with your full team
Onsite Training
Instructor-led training delivered at your office, with lab environments pre-configured so your team starts building from the first session.
- Dedicated instructor for your cohorts
- Labs tuned to your Azure environment
- Private sessions for your teams only
- Onsite capstone build and review
Live Virtual Training
Live virtual training over video with screen-shared instruction and cloud-based lab environments, paced exactly like the in-person program.
- Live instructor-led sessions, not recordings
- Cloud lab environments for every attendee
- Breakout groups for lab coaching
- Virtual capstone presentation and review

Where this Training Fits in Your Team's learning path.
AKS draws on two skills your team needs first: administering Azure and building containers. This course then covers running and scaling Kubernetes on Azure. GitOps with Argo CD or Flux comes last, so deployments to AKS are driven from Git and stay consistent across clusters.

Operate AKS Workloads Through Secure Networking and Progressive Delivery
Our Azure Kubernetes Service training connects cluster configuration with the behavior of applications running on it. Participants deploy workloads, manage traffic and storage, and examine scaling before practicing progressive releases. A platform build and incident drill bring observability, health checks, and operational reasoning into the same review as the Kubernetes configuration.
- Step 01
Consult
We review your container workloads and platform responsibilities, identifying priorities in AKS provisioning, networking, persistent storage, scaling, release strategies, and incident diagnosis.
- Step 02
Plan
We establish cluster and node-pool foundations before workload deployment, ingress and policies, storage and scaling, then observability and canary delivery in the capstone.
- Step 03
Align
We calibrate Kubernetes, YAML, and Azure explanations to platform and DevOps experience, confirming access to a controlled AKS environment for deployment exercises.
- Step 04
Customize
We tailor a multi-tier application, stateful component, and traffic scenario to representative platform needs, making release health and network boundaries explicit.
- Step 05
Execute
Participants perform rolling updates, verify TLS and traffic policies, test scaling, and investigate a canary release with guided feedback on health evidence.
- Step 06
Evaluate
We assess the platform build and incident drill for verified workload behavior, controlled connectivity, persistent data handling, useful observability, and a defensible release decision.
