Program Overview: What is Lean Six Sigma Green Belt?
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is an instructor-led program that teaches delivery teams to solve problems with the DMAIC method: Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control. Your team learns project charters, CTQ definition, data collection, measurement system checks, root cause analysis, and control plans through guided labs. Every tool is practiced on the team's own processes, closing with a full DMAIC capstone project.
Training opens with Six Sigma foundations and the DMAIC cycle, then moves into defining projects with charters and critical-to-quality measures. Instructors coach measurement: baselining the process, validating the data, and reading variation with simple statistics. Analyze and Improve labs run on real team problems with instructor feedback at each phase. The program ends with a capstone where each participant completes a DMAIC project end to end.
Delivery teams drown in recurring problems that never get solved properly: the same delays, the same defects, the same workarounds. Gut feel fixes treat symptoms and the problem returns. This program replaces guesswork with DMAIC discipline, so teams define the real problem, measure it honestly, and implement fixes that hold.
The capstone is a complete Green Belt DMAIC project on a problem from the participant's own delivery world. It covers the charter and CTQs, the baseline data and measurement checks, the root cause analysis, the implemented improvements, and the control plan that sustains them. Built phase by phase with instructor coaching and presented to the cohort, the project becomes a reusable artifact: proof the practitioner can run DMAIC independently, and a documented improvement the organization keeps.
Six modules and 24 hours: lean six sigma foundations, project definition, measurement systems, root cause analysis, improvement and control, and a capstone DMAIC project. Every module pairs concepts with hands-on labs, so each technique is practiced on realistic delivery scenarios.

Build Green Belt DMAIC Projects With Reliable Baselines and Tested Improvements
Edstellar develops Green Belt capability through a practical process-improvement project. Participants define CTQs, check measurement quality, and analyze a baseline before investigating causes and designing a pilot. The completed DMAIC project connects results with a control plan, reviewed for clear scope, appropriate use of data, and evidence that supports the proposed improvement.
- Step 01
Consult
We explore process ownership, recurring defects, and confidence working with data to identify the cohort's needs in project scoping, measurement, and structured problem solving.
- Step 02
Plan
We establish DMAIC and CTQ-based charters before process baselines, then connect root-cause analysis, pilot design, and control planning in the end-to-end project.
- Step 03
Align
We align process-improvement facilitation with delivery, operations, quality, and product teams, selecting accessible datasets and providing statistical support appropriate to participants' starting experience.
- Step 04
Customize
We adapt sample delivery processes and defect trends to familiar work, ensuring measurement checks and pilot comparisons address a specific problem rather than a preferred solution.
- Step 05
Execute
Participants draft charters, validate data, analyze defect patterns, and design pilots, receiving feedback on scope, baseline quality, causal reasoning, and measures for the control plan.
- Step 06
Evaluate
We assess the DMAIC project for defined CTQs, credible baseline evidence, supported root causes, measured pilot results, and controls that address the process changes demonstrated.
