Program Overview: What is Cloud Resilience and Business Continuity?
Cloud Resilience & Business Continuity is Edstellar's instructor-led program for architects, SREs, and technology leaders who need their systems to survive the inevitable failure. Over 28 hours, participants learn resilience foundations, multi-region architecture patterns, high availability and load balancing, backup and disaster recovery, chaos engineering, and business continuity planning. Uptime is treated as a designed property, not a hope.
Participants build multi-region architectures in guided labs, configure failover that actually fails over, and run restores against the clock. They inject faults with chaos engineering tools to find weaknesses before customers do, and draft continuity plans with governance that holds during a real incident. Instructors who have lived through outages review every design across three practice sessions.
Most resilience plans exist only on paper: untested backups, failover nobody has triggered since it was built, runbooks written for systems that no longer exist. The outage always reveals the gap. This program teaches teams to prove resilience continuously, test the restore, trigger the failover, break things on purpose, so the plan works when it matters.
The capstone is a full-scale failover exercise: teams execute a simulated regional outage against their own architecture, failing over, restoring, communicating, and are graded on recovery time and data loss. Participants leave having survived their disaster before it happens for real.
The program adapts to your training needs: labs run on your cloud stack and tooling, scenarios mirror your failure modes, and the capstone drill targets a real workload. Cohorts practice the exact recovery workflows they will own in production.

Where this Training Fits in Your Team's learning path.
Resilience is designed into a cloud platform, not bolted on after. Your team learns cloud basics and designs the landing zone first, then this course builds in redundancy, backup and recovery. ISO 22301 continuity management closes the path, so technical recovery is tied to how the business governs continuity.

Turn Cloud Recovery Objectives Into Tested Resilience and Continuity Procedures
Edstellar connects availability architecture with the recovery procedures teams must execute under disruption. Participants define recovery targets, test failover, restore data, and examine fault injection in controlled environments. The final outage exercise reviews measured recovery, data validation, role coordination, and the quality of the resulting incident learning.
- Step 01
Consult
We explore availability ownership, cloud experience, and service dependencies to identify gaps in recovery objectives, failover testing, restore procedures, and continuity coordination.
- Step 02
Plan
We define failure modes and recovery targets before multi-region patterns, load balancing, backups, and fault injection, then integrate continuity roles and outage recovery.
- Step 03
Align
We align resilience instruction with platform, SRE, security, and infrastructure roles, confirming isolated fault exercises and support for participants new to recovery planning.
- Step 04
Customize
We tailor sample service dependencies, outage conditions, and escalation scenarios to relevant workloads while keeping fault injection and restore tests in controlled environments.
- Step 05
Execute
Participants test failover, measure restores, inject faults, and rehearse continuity roles, receiving feedback on recovery evidence, data integrity, and operational handoffs.
- Step 06
Evaluate
We assess the outage exercise for measured recovery against stated targets, validated data, coordinated failback, and actionable findings from the post-incident review.
