Program Overview: What is OpenStack?
OpenStack is Edstellar's instructor-led technical program for cloud engineers, infrastructure teams, and architects building private clouds on OpenStack. Participants master cloud architecture, compute, networking, storage, identity, and orchestration across 24 hours of hands-on training. It suits teams choosing open-source cloud infrastructure over public cloud lock-in, with full control of the stack.
Training runs lab-first from the first module. Your team deploys OpenStack services, configures identity and networking, and provisions compute and storage through guided labs in every module. Instructors coach on service integration, security controls, and cost optimization, reviewing each build against production standards with direct feedback. The program closes with a capstone where the team delivers a production-ready private cloud, with networking, storage, security, and monitoring all proven under review.
Many OpenStack efforts stall at a half-deployed lab: services that never integrate, networking nobody trusts, and security added as an afterthought. Teams burn months on fragmented guides and brittle scripts. This program teaches your engineers to deploy, operate, and secure OpenStack as one coherent private cloud, with cost guardrails built in from day one.
The capstone asks the team to hand over a private cloud they would trust with real workloads: identity and networking configured, compute flavors and storage provisioned, orchestration proven with a live deployment, monitoring in place, and security controls documented. Reviewers probe the architecture for gaps, so the team leaves with an operations runbook as well as the cloud itself.
Six modules and 24 hours: architecture, identity and networking, compute and storage, deployment and operations, plus security and cost optimization. Every module pairs concepts with a guided lab, so each technique is practiced. It closes with a capstone the team plans, deploys, secures, and presents.
Delivery is hybrid across virtual and onsite sessions, scheduled around your calendar. Cohorts train as one group or split into batches, with session materials and lab guides included for every participant.

Teams that Benefit from this OpenStack Group Training
Cloud, platform, DevOps, and security engineers learn to run private clouds on OpenStack as one cohort. Groups train on shared standards while content adapts to role and experience, so each cohort practices the workflows it owns.
Run your private cloud on OpenStack with confidence.
Cloud infrastructure engineers design, deploy, and operate the OpenStack control plane and compute hosts, keeping tenants isolated, services healthy, and capacity ahead of demand.

Where this Training Fits in Your Team's learning path.
OpenStack runs on Linux, so Linux administration comes first. This course then builds and operates a private cloud with OpenStack. Infrastructure as code automates that cloud, and Kubernetes follows for teams moving application workloads onto containers.
