Program Overview: What is Ansible?
Ansible is a 24-hour instructor-led program for DevOps engineers, sysadmins, and platform teams automating infrastructure with Ansible. It covers setup and inventory, playbook writing and YAML, roles, variables and Jinja2 templating, Vault and secure automation, and CI/CD integration. Participants finish by building a full-stack automation solution in the capstone.
Training is hands-on across six modules, with each module pairing a focused teach with lab time in a live test infrastructure. Your team completes 6 guided labs on playbooks, roles, Jinja2 templating, and CI/CD integration, with live instructor coaching as they automate. Pair debugging and reviews of idempotency and security patterns reinforce every concept. The program closes with a five-hour capstone where participants design, build, and run a complete full-stack automation build.
Teams without Ansible discipline manage servers by hand: slow provisioning, configuration drift, and late-night firefighting. This program teaches automation-first infrastructure: idempotent playbooks, reusable roles, Vault for secrets, and Ansible wired into CI/CD. Your engineers learn to manage fleets of servers the way modern DevOps demands: consistent, secure, and repeatable.
They automate a whole stack in the capstone, inventory, roles, secrets, the lot. Manual server work starts looking like a choice, not a necessity.
Six modules and 24 hours: Ansible setup, playbook authoring, roles and templating, Vault security, and CI/CD integration. Every module pairs concepts with a guided lab, so each technique is practiced. It closes with a capstone automation project the team plans, builds, and presents. Delivery is hybrid across virtual and onsite sessions, scheduled around your calendar. Cohorts train as one group or split into batches, with session materials and lab guides included for every participant.

Plan
We connect control-node and YAML foundations with roles, templates, Vault, and failure handling before integrating dynamic inventory and CI into a complete automation build.
- Step 03
Align
We align instruction with DevOps, SRE, platform, and release responsibilities, using a lab fleet and explicit access boundaries while introducing Ansible fundamentals.
- Step 04
Customize
We tailor host inventories, configuration templates, and failure scenarios to familiar environments while preserving check-mode use, idempotency tests, and secure treatment of training secrets.
- Step 05
Execute
Participants refactor roles, test playbooks, and exercise gated pipeline runs, receiving feedback on repeatability, variable design, failure recovery, and the visibility of operational changes.
- Step 06
Evaluate
We assess the automation for idempotent behavior, reusable structure, appropriate secret controls, and a tested delivery path with clear evidence for successful and failed runs.
