Program Overview: What is Industrial Robotics and Cobots Corporate Training?
Industrial Robotics & Cobots: Programming, Operations & Safety is a 24-hour corporate training program for automation teams deploying industrial robots and collaborative robots. It covers robot anatomy and motion, teach and offline programming, cobot setup and hand-guiding, cell integration with PLC and safety I/O, and safety engineering to standards. Both fenced robots and fenceless cobots are covered.
The program alternates classroom foundations with intensive cell work. Participants program robots three ways, set up cobots by hand-guiding, integrate cells with PLC and safety I/O, and engineer safety systems to ISO 10218 and ISO/TS 15066. Instructors audit every safety design before power is applied and coach teams through risk assessment. The program ends with a deployment capstone that takes a cell from concept to safe operation.
Unsafe or poorly integrated robots injure people and idle lines: bypassed interlocks, unvalidated cobot applications, and cells nobody fully understands. This program builds teams that deploy robots which are both productive and provably safe, so automation expands without incidents or compliance exposure. Safety is engineered in, not bolted on.
The capstone takes a robot cell from concept to safe operation. Each team specifies its application, programs the robot or cobot, integrates PLC and safety I/O, completes the risk assessment and validation, and runs the cell under observation. The sign-off is a documented, standards-compliant deployment: a cell your safety team would approve and your operators can run with confidence.
Across six modules, your teams move from robotics foundations to a safe, commissioned robotic cell. Sessions use real robot hardware, programming tools, and safety assessment templates, so every skill transfers directly to your plant.
Delivered as a hybrid instructor-led program, it fits around your calendar, with scheduling set along with you, and content tailored to your robots and industry.
