VMware Tanzu Kubernetes Platform is a 24-hour instructor-led program for platform engineers, Kubernetes administrators, and DevOps teams on VMware infrastructure. It covers Tanzu Platform foundations, Tanzu Kubernetes Grid clusters, networking with ingress and service mesh, and security policy and access control. The program moves from single-cluster setup to GitOps delivery and day-2 operations for a multi-cluster estate.
Training is lab-first: most of the 24 hours happen inside live Tanzu environments, deploying clusters, wiring ingress and service mesh routing, and enforcing access policies. Guided builds alternate with independent practice while the instructor reviews cluster state and pipelines in real time. Feedback targets production failure modes, from mesh misconfiguration to drifted cluster definitions. A 5.5-hour capstone closes the program as each learner stands up a complete multi-cluster Tanzu platform with GitOps delivery and day-2 operations running.
