Program Overview: What is Microsoft 365 Administration?
Microsoft 365 Administration is a 28-hour corporate training program for IT administrators, helpdesk leads, and systems engineers managing Microsoft 365 tenants. It covers tenant foundations, identity and access with Entra ID, Exchange Online administration, SharePoint and OneDrive governance, Teams administration, and security, compliance, and data protection. Learners finish by configuring a full tenant end to end.
The program runs as seven instructor-led modules with four hands-on admin labs. Learners set up a practice tenant with safe defaults, create users and groups in Entra ID with single sign-on, manage mailboxes and mail flow rules, lock down external sharing in SharePoint, build a Teams structure with policies, and enforce Conditional Access with DLP and Defender policies. Instructors coach each lab, giving feedback on configuration correctness. The five-hour capstone has teams configure a full tenant end to end with a documented runbook.
Tenants configured ad hoc accumulate security gaps, license waste, and support tickets that never end. This program teaches administrators to build tenants properly: identity-first, governed sharing, hardened mail, and monitored compliance. The payoff is a tenant that is secure, manageable, and auditable.
The capstone leaves each team with a fully configured practice tenant plus an operations runbook: tenant setup, Entra ID design, Exchange configuration, SharePoint and OneDrive governance, Teams policies, and security and DLP enforcement, all presented for instructor critique. Teams return with a runbook they can apply to their own production tenants, so administration becomes a disciplined practice instead of a reactive ticket queue.
Seven modules and 28 hours: tenant setup, identity, Exchange Online, SharePoint and OneDrive, Teams, security and compliance, and a capstone tenant build. Every module pairs concepts with a guided lab, so each technique is practiced. It closes with a capstone the team plans, builds, reviews, and presents.
Delivery is hybrid across virtual and onsite sessions, scheduled around your calendar. Cohorts train as one group or split into batches, with session materials and lab guides included for every participant.

Develop Governed Microsoft 365 Tenants Through Configuration and Operations Practice
Edstellar connects Microsoft 365 administration with the identity, collaboration, and protection decisions behind daily operations. Participants configure practice-tenant services, resolve common issues, and examine security scenarios. The final tenant and runbook are reviewed together, with attention to access boundaries, policy consistency, and evidence that administrators can explain and support their configuration.

Consult
We review IT support responsibilities and administration experience to identify priorities in tenant setup, identity, messaging, collaboration governance, and security incident handling.
- Step 02
Plan
We build from tenant foundations and Entra ID to Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams, then integrate security controls in the tenant operations capstone.
- Step 03
Align
We align Microsoft 365 administration expertise with IT, service desk, and security roles, confirming practice-tenant arrangements and adjusting foundational support to participants' experience.
- Step 04
Customize
Sample users, collaboration sites, and support incidents reflect relevant organizational structures, enabling tailored policy and troubleshooting exercises without altering production identities or customer data.
- Step 05
Execute
Participants configure identities and service policies, troubleshoot synchronization, and triage simulated alerts, receiving feedback on access choices, external sharing, protection settings, and operational documentation.
- Step 06
Evaluate
We review the configured tenant and runbook for consistent role assignments, justified service policies, tested troubleshooting responses, and clear documentation of the protection controls implemented.
