Program Overview: What is SAP - Quality Planning and Inspection?
SAP - Quality Planning & Inspection is Edstellar's instructor-led program for quality, production, and plant IT teams running SAP Quality Management. It covers QM foundations, quality master data, inspection processing, defect and quality notification handling, and compliance integration. Participants learn to run the full inspection lifecycle inside SAP, from planning through usage decisions.
Training is hands-on from the first module, with guided labs in a live SAP QM environment. Participants build quality master data, process inspections, record defects, and drive quality notifications through resolution. Instructors coach each lab, correcting setup errors before they become habits. The final four and a half hours are a Full Inspection Cycle capstone: run a complete inspection from planning to usage decision.
Plants without disciplined QM run on spreadsheets and hope: missed inspections, recurring defects, and audit findings they cannot explain. Bad master data multiplies every error downstream. This program teaches teams to enforce quality inside SAP itself: planned inspections, tracked defects, and notifications that close the loop.
The capstone is a Full Inspection Cycle: your team plans an inspection, builds the master data behind it, processes results, logs defects, and drives a quality notification to a usage decision. Instructors review the cycle for the gaps auditors look for, and the team walks out with the inspection templates and notification workflows they built and tested.
Six modules and 24 hours: SAP QM foundations, quality master data, inspection processing labs, defects and quality notifications, integration and compliance, and a capstone full inspection cycle. Every module pairs concepts with a guided lab, so each technique is practiced on real scenarios. It closes with a capstone your team plans, inspects, and dispositions end to end.
Delivery is hybrid across virtual and onsite sessions, scheduled around your calendar. Cohorts train as one group or split into batches, with session materials and lab guides included for every participant.
