Build low-code apps on Appian: data models, SAIL interfaces, process workflows, and integrations, all in guided labs.
This instructor-led program takes your team from Appian basics to confident low-code application building. Across 27 hours and seven modules, your team navigates the Appian platform, models data with records and data types, designs SAIL interfaces, automates work with process models, builds expression rules and integrations, secures and deploys applications, and finishes with a capstone app build reviewed by the instructor. Every session is hands-on, every technique is practiced, and the capstone delivers a working Appian application your team can use as a reference immediately.

Program Overview: What is Appian Developer?
Appian Developer is a 27-hour instructor-led program for developers, analysts, and process teams who build applications on the Appian low-code platform. Across 7 modules, participants cover Appian foundations and navigation, data modeling with records, interface design with SAIL, process modeling and workflow automation, expression rules and integrations, and security and deployment. The program closes with a capstone build of an end-to-end low-code application.
Learning is hands-on: each module pairs focused instruction with practice sessions in Appian environments, where participants model data, design interfaces, build process models, and wire integrations. Instructors coach participants through builds, review designs, and give feedback on production-ready practices. The final 5 hours are a capstone in which teams plan and deliver a complete low-code application covering records, interfaces, process automation, and security. Teams demonstrate their applications and explain their design decisions.
Teams without solid Appian skills ship slow, brittle applications and over-engineer workarounds for gaps in process modeling, data design, and security. Shadow processes multiply and maintenance becomes painful. This program teaches participants to build applications the platform way, with clean data models, maintainable process models, and security and deployment practices that scale.
Each graduate has planned, modeled, and built a working Appian application. Low-code stops meaning low-quality when the builder knows what they are doing.
The capstone brings it home: your team plans a business application, models its data, builds interfaces and process workflows, connects integrations in a guided lab, and presents results for structured instructor feedback. You leave with reusable artifacts: data models, interface patterns, and process designs your development team can use from day one.
