Deepa has over fourteen years of experience in the IT industry in various roles such as Scrum Master, Senior Quality Specialist, DevOps, and Developer. She has experience testing Web, Desktop, and Mobile (Android, iOS, and Windows) apps. As a Scrum Master, she has experience in team and stakeholder management, experience with resource planning, scope assessment, task planning, effort estimation, defect reporting, and defect tracking. Additionally, test Management Experience with GTP, and Jira, assisted with recruiting and interviewing new and potential employees and trained new team members on testing methodologies, exploratory testing, etc.

As a Quality Specialist, Deepa has experience in taking the initiative to drive continuous improvement in quality via testing techniques. In Agile Development, she has experience implementing quality assurance activities like code review, refactoring, clean code, peer testing, and pair programming. Deepa is proficient in preparing test case design, review, test execution, test reports, conducting exploratory testing tours in each sprint and defect reporting, and sending consolidated test status report to higher management. She has exceptional knowledge of black box testing techniques and functional, integration testing, regression, SAT, globalization, and end-to-end testing. She also has expertise in test techniques that check point-based and state transitions.

She has experience in CI/CD build setup using maven, Jenkins, XMake for Sonar, and Fortify, Debugging the build failures and fixing them, building jobs creation for fortify scan using XMake for desktop, android, and server projects, and reducing manual setup effort for scanning up to 4-5 hrs, test evolution report creation time reduced to 0.5 hrs. from of 4 hrs, handling DOD activities for SAP document center on SAP Neo Cloud. In addition, she has experience in java, android mobile development, JavaScript, Git, Gerrit, TFS-GIT, and Eclipse.
